An 8-bit remix of an image I created many years ago - and my first attempt at drawing in a pixelated style. Everything is hand drawn, but I hope it conveys the feeling of old school graphics - looks pretty cool I think - especially the sheep!

I like to do a self portrait a year, as a kind of pointer towards the future - this is my latest....

One of my most popular images - and the lead image of an exhibition of my work with the same name. This was done in the early 2000's and was a combination of marker pens and neon acrylic paint on A3 sketchpad paper.

For January 2021 I decided to do projects I had wanted to do, but not had time to do pre-pandemic - this skateboard design is based on a project I saw in an old copy of the Computer Arts Projects magazine - the graffiti style logo design says my name - Mykadelica.

From the early 2000's, I created this A4 size image from a tiny thumbnail of the actress Elodie Bouchez - this was during the early stages of creating my "Mykadelic" style - using blocks of bright, bold colour instinctively to create surreal yet recognisable imagery.

This is part of a triptych of images based on surreal imagery placed into realistic scenery. It incorporates Sharpies drawn directly onto canvas. They were exhibited together as part of "The Girl In The Pink Hat" at the Peckham Pelican.

One of my earliest self portraits that still exists - made early 2000's in Havana, Cuba.

Another lockdown image, done towards the end of the first lockdown, when it seemed life was slowly returning to normal.

I made this for a Talenthouse quick brief. The idea was futuristic imagery, so I imagined a floating alien city, with a cowboy/bounty hunter figure preparing to enter through the city gates. Being a fan of Blade Runner and such like, this was an image I really got into.

2020 starts, and Mr Memo Pad (aka Running Away From My To-Do List), tries to get away from all of his responsibilities and resolutions...

An early Mykadelic abstraction, incorporating photography and elements of colour to create futuristic patterns. I've always been interested in t-shirt designs, so thought of that goal with these patterns in mind.

This is a fan art image created as an alternative film poster for the Beatrice Dalle-starring movie "Trouble Every Day". I am a fan of horror movies, and this image seemed to fit both the movie, and my Mykadelic style...

In the early 2000's I really wanted to marry different elements together - in this one I wanted to create a real abstraction of laser lights (from photographs taken at raves) and draw directly over the top in Adobe Illustrator. I loved going between manipulating images in Photoshop and adding to them using Illustrator, and then back into Photoshop etc. This image was a product of that process.

One of my early images, that highlights the use of my favourite neon colours - this was made in the late 1990's.

One of a series of multi-media items - called the Mykadelic Alphabet - that were created and put up on the internet during 2019. This was one of the first works to be made entirely on an iPad, using Adobe Sketch and an Apple Pencil, now my preferred way of working.

Another image from the Mykadelic Alphabet - a self-initiated project to create 26 different multi-media items (including poetry, short texts, sound art and music as well as imagery). This was made in 2019, using markers directly onto canvas.
