Hi!
I hope everyone is well. It's been a tough old winter, but Saturday marked the changing of seasons, so now we hit Spring. Just like the daffodils and tiny buds on trees, people are starting to emerge from their dwellings...and I'm drawing fruit. Lot's of it.
I decided to make a picture which consisted of a lot of elements, in black and white, so all of the details had to be precise (a real test for my drawing ability!) - so here you have it, a mountain of fruit - all produced digitally on Adobe Sketch using an Apple Pencil.
If you look very carefully, you will find two eyes peeping out from inside the mountain, this element was the last to be added, and kind of a last minute decision too. However, I find they bring everything together, and actually led to the title for the piece...
In other news, my CGI work is coming on well, but I am going to wait a little bit longer to show it, as I want to make sure I have a bit of control over what I'm making, rather than guessing and hoping, which is what I've been doing a little bit so far. Still, things are coming along...
