Hope the New Year is treating you well so far. For the start of 2021, I have decided to have a try at my own take on the Japanese art I was influenced by when living and working there. You can see it appear on my website over January (www.mykadelica.com)
Japan is a land of contrast, from the ancient to the modern, and this applied to its art too. From Japanese caligraphy to modern day graffiti - the amazing art of the Ukiyo to anime.
Though I don't want to just reproduce imagery - I can't help but be influenced by it - so over January I will show you some works influenced by Japan and its art styles
, but still very much Mykadelica in style...
